Crafts

This site was built in Wordpress because it needed to have the functionality to sell products and be more flexible than Six can really support. Wordpress was chosen over other platforms because once it is built there are no ongoing costs to sell.

On the home page I have included the Instagram feed for the company. It encourages customers to follow on Instagram, which means they can be kept in touch with more easily. It also means that the site is always kept up to date with the latest designs, without having to update the site itself.

An email signup form is on every page of the site. When a customer signs up, I have set up MailerLite to automatically send them an email. In this case it includes a discount code that can be used straight away by customers.

On the product pages, I have set up multiple different drop down options so that customers can select the exact product they are after. In this case there are 3 different drop down options available, some of which affect the price of the product. Using WordPress and WooCommerce there can be even more drop downs included making it totally bespoke to each business.
