Boutique Hotel
A boutique hotel in Dorset wanted to create a new website, having had their previous one a number of years. We focused more on the photographs to do tell the story and thought more about the customers journey to booking a room with them.

The main purpose of this site is to provide all the information a guest would need to ultimately book in to stay. With this is mind I created a “book now” button which scrolls down the page, on every page. This way the idea to book is always at the forefront of visitors minds.

The footer for this site is a bit different. I included the map on every page, with 2 pinpointed locations, one for the carpark and one for the hotel itself, as this is one of the most common questions guests have. It is also colour coordinated to be in keeping with the site, which takes is colour scheme from the pink building.

To add a bit of fun and get some important details across, I created some custom icons that are in the colour palette of the site. When hovering over each icon the information is revealed using an animation, which draws more attention to that area.
